Changelog
What has changed in LibreHold, newest first. Small fixes land all the time; this page lists the changes you will notice in the game.
— A pixel map, instant games and armies on the road
- The world map is drawn in pixel art, with forests, mountains and lakes.
- Play now puts you in an hour-long instant game as a guest, with no account needed.
- Armies march across the map, and you can watch them on the road.
- You can send troops to meet an army on the road and fight it in a field battle.
— The village in pixel art
- Your village is drawn in pixel art, building by building.
- Panels, buttons and icons got a matching pixel look.
— The game server: accounts and shared worlds
- The game runs on a server now, so your village is the same on every device.
- Accounts with a name and a password.
- Players share one world and meet each other on the map.
- Changes arrive live: an attack, a finished building or a new report shows up without reloading the page.
— Bots that live in the world
- Bot players build, raid, defend and take villages, the way people do.
- Each bot keeps its own daily rhythm: it checks in, plays for a while and goes to sleep.
- Bots remember who attacked them and may come back for revenge.
- They are always labelled as bots.
— Phones, growing buildings and villages on the map
- The game fits a phone screen, with panels laid out for a narrow display.
- Every building changes its look as it gains levels.
- Villages appear on the map, so you can see your neighbours.
— The first playable version
- The first version you could actually play.
- A village with buildings to upgrade, resources that keep coming in and troops to recruit.
- Barbarian villages to attack, with a report after every battle.
